If I apply SCEA, I can’t apply EA to Chicago or Northeastern. Does applying SCEA to Stanford increase my chances by a lot compared to regular decision? And does Chicago defer a lot of people in the early round? Which option do you think would increase my chances?
SCEA to Sanford is no bump at all, yes UChicago and most others defer a lot in the early round, if you want to go to Stanford by a wide margin, then apply SCEA, even though it won’t help you. If not look at Sanford RD and EA to UChicago and NE.

There is most likely a decent boost to EA to NE and maybe a small boost EA to UChicago, you definitely get a much bigger boost ED to UChicago.
