EA to Yale but not first choice?

<p>I just want to get an idea of how many people here who are applying early action to Yale just for the heck of it, but your first choice is really Harvard or Princeton. </p>

<p>I ask this because Yale is my first choice, but the fact that people who want to go to Harvard or Princeton also apply increases the competitiveness of the applicant pool.</p>

<p>Yale is my first choice, so if I get accepted I will matriculate. That being said, bluereedz, it will be extremely competitive. I hear the class of 2013 will be have the highest applicant pool in decades and then next year, it will start to decrease.</p>

<p>mmm as of now yale is my first choice and thus i would probably go if accepted. however, i really do like harvard and columbia as well - though i might regret going to harvard if i matriculated and there’s some things about columbz i don’t really like.</p>
