Since the FAFSA opened earlier this year, will Pitt be sending out financial aid packages earlier? I know some schools are going to begin notifying earlier, but wasn’t sure on Pitt’s parameters regarding the change. If it won’t be earlier in the year, when do FA packages usually become available? Thanks!
Financial aid award information will start to go out to admitted freshmen in February.

For just a little more info: We recommend students interested in financial aid for Pitt file their FAFSA by March 1 at the latest.
Packaging for prospective and committed incoming freshmen will begin in February, but of course those who file later will hear back a little later. We do our best to get information to you as soon as we can so that you have time to make an informed decision about whether to commit to Pitt before the May 1 deposit deadline.
