<p>I am not pleased with my ACT scores. 29 both times. I am planning to retake it in September.
High school guidance counselor has not been very helpful. I have a 34 in English, 26 in math, reading 30, and science 24. Combined English and writing is 33. My science on an earlier ACT was 28. I have brought up English, reading and math but I just tanked the science. I received a 10 on both essays.
I realize I need a math tutor, but would you recommend an ACT prep class or just a math tutor?
I’d like to apply early to honors at universities. I won’t qualify for need so I really need merit scholarship. $. Is that the best way to get merit $?
I’d like to be a docKtor one day, another reason I need merit. Also what should I pursue for an under grad pre med degree?
I would appreciate any advice on where to go from here or is it too late to hope for merit $$?
Where do you think I should apply in the mid west?</p>
