<p>UVa expects them to be sent when they are available. For some that will be early January, others early February. Schools start at different times (mid August through Labor Day) so midterms are spread out over several weeks. All applicants, EA or RD, are required to send midyear transcripts. As washdcmom points out GCs handle this differently, sometimes sending quarterly grades as well. Your GC should know to send the midyear transcript, however if it makes you feel better you can certainly mention it to them.</p>
