Early Action and H1N1

Hey Guys,

I caught H1N1 this past week, completely destroying my schedule. The entire week I was going to polish and probably re-write my long essay (since I spent about three weeks editing the long essay and I was really unsatisfied with it still). Now, I’m finally getting better (yay). But tomorrow’s the deadline for Early Action, and all my teachers have already sent in their recommendations. However, I am seriously unsatisfied with my long essay, and my other essays probably need polishing. Doing work for more than one hour right now makes me nauseous and tired.

Question: should I really submit my application tomorrow, or should I wait for regular decision? I heard there’s no real advantage to applying early action other than hearing back from them early. Is it okay to do this if my teachers and my counselor have already submitted all their recommendations?

Thanks for answers in advanced. And lesson here: don’t get sick like I did.

I would answer your question but I dont want to catch anything

I’m sorry to hear that as, unfortunately, I can relate. I got the flu last weekend and it completely messed up my plans. Like you, I am unhappy with my long essay but before today was not fit to work on it. So what did I do? I restarted it completely about an hour ago and it is going great! I have less than 24 hours to finish it, along with some other short answers, but I think I will make it. It all depends on whether you feel that you can complete an application that reflects you at your best by the deadline.

HAHAHAHA daman1 you just made my day xD
