Early action applications up 36 percent

haha yea, but the stanford SCEA applications actually dropped. not by much, but by like 60 or so applications.

andd november 30th for questbridge applicants? thats so soon haha. good luck to all of you guys! =P

In terms of your chances of getting in in any particular year, the number of applicants is much less important than the quality. Whether 3,500 or 6,000 people apply probably won’t make all that much of a difference.

right, but the theory is…the more total applicants, the more qualified applicants. i dont know if its always correct, but it seems to make sense quite often. esp this year when it seems like the increase may be from ppl who would have otherwise applied to harvard/princeton if they had early programs. and IMO…there must be a number of qualified applicants in that pool.
