I understand that Early Action (henceforth referred to as EA) is an adverb as in: I applied EA to Princeton this year. Is it also a verb? I have seen posts saying “I will EA Princeton,” suggesting a transitive verb. Or is it intransitive? (I will EA to Princeton). Advice?

I’ve never heard it used as a verb, just an adverb.

It can be used as both a verb and adverb, and both transitive and intransitive. Since it is slang, there really aren’t any rules on how to use it.

I think you are right, dfree. I just wanted to open the discussion.
