Early Action/No SAT IIs

When applying for early action, it is feasible that alot of students won’t yet have taken the SAT IIs. One can note when they will take it or when they took it (with no results back yet), but Yale will not see the scores. I would think this would lead to alot of deferrals. How often does Yale accept someone early without seeing his or her SAT II scores?

kilkenny, Yale expects to see the SAT IIs to make a decision. Therefore, all SAT IIs should be taken before the 1 November slot to assure that the scores are available. If they are not, the student’s application will not be considered complete. The exception is the student who takes the ACT and submits these in lieu of the SAT I + SAT II scores. Yale will not accept a student SCEA without seeing SAT II scores if the SAT I is submitted instead of the ACT.

Actually, I got in EA and I don’t believe my SAT II’s were on record. I took them for December 5.
