Hey I was curious how Voguepanda & Improvements did — has anyone heard from them?

I got deferred not surprised though! espically after domesticatin got deferred and all.

got deferred, but not too broken up about it. out of my nine applications, it was on the lower half of the list.
still stings a bit, though.
ah well.

I’m still really bummin’ about it. I guess I’ll send them a letter over break or something telling them its still my number one.

Me too, domestican. If you dont get in RD there is no justice! I have a 15 point plan worked out to get in.

Haha, oh yeah? Do elaborate.

Hey I live in california and I diddn’t get my letter today. Did anyone else in Cali get theres and are the acceptance/deferred letters the same size?

Acceptance and deferral letters are the same size, but you can tell if the letter is a deferral because its just one white sheet, while the acceptance letters have three sheets, one of which is blue (which makes the envelope have a blue-ish tint).

my enveloped was not sealed. at all. not like it had been sealed and then opened…the glue was never moistened and there is no sign of it ever having been taped or anything.

is that weird or what?

I’m going to make the high dean’s list

I’m going to become friends with college president

i’m going to get my 'regarding the SATs" essay published

I’m going to retake the sats for the 5th time

i’m going to call my interviewer

im going to re-write my essays.

the other 7 are TBD.

The acceptance envelope is a little thick (you can tell by holding it), and I actually had a yellow piece of paper (instead of blue).

Improvements, what did you get on the math portion of the SAT? If it’s a 15 point plan don’t you need 9 more : )

Well, lolabelle, Tufts has become much more attractive over the past five hours. If I can’t do Georgetown, I think I’d be more than happy at Tufts.

If you guys have the patience, would you mind posting some of your stats so those who are applying regular decision will know how remote our chances are?

I think a bunch of us put the stats over in the other thread.

Domestican,

You’re obviously a smart kid. You’ll do great no matter where you go. I think a great deal of your education is what you make out of it, and seeing that you’re a smart person, you’ll get a great education most anywhere.

If you have any questions about Tufts, the international relations program, ED II, RD, student life, etc., please post int he Tufts forum! I check and write on it everyday; the forum’s one of the busiest on CC. More students and alums write in it than parents, which I think is a good thing. Talk to you soon, perhaps?
