Deferred…

I GOT IN!!! OMG so happy
stats later

I just threw up, thats how nervous I am.

I really… cannot understand why I got deferred.

:-( Domestician, read my lottery post. People with perfect scores got deferred from MIT. and people with less then perfect, much less got in. It’s random. And it’s probably the same at Georgetown. it has nothing to do with you, they just can not offer all the people spaces.

Deffered, in shock, i wanted to go to georgetown since freshman year of high school

i live in new jersey

i got into michigan today if that means anything : /

Yeah, I know… It’s just a bummer. I mean… I really don’t think I could’ve done anything more. ****.

deferred…

LaLara where in N. Jersey are you from?

I’m from Millburn/Short Hills

Still cannot believe I got deferred

Meanwhile in Chicago I wait another day…

For all of you who got deferred, focus on your other choices! Georgetown isn’t the only school out there for all of you! If there is a clear second-choice school, see if they offer ED II… (schools like Tufts, CMU, Brandeis, and other LACs do)

Bah, this just is annoying. I really don’t see what was wrong with my application. Valedictorian, mid 1400’s SAT, captain of the soccer team, SGA officer… ugh.

Domestican, Ic an’t believe that as a valedictorian they rejected you either. Maybe they thought you were just applying EA to get a non-binding acceptance early so you can sit down and wait for Columbia or someplace that’s harder to get into but have only binding early application programs. You’ll go to a great school; maybe even one you thought would be harder to get into than Gtown.

I got my letter yesterday. Deferred-I knew with the increase in apps this year the competition was harder but still…

Hope that all people still waiting will hear news today.

Gotta go finish the rest of my apps

I live in NYC and the mail came… but no Georgetown Envelope… :(

I got my letter today… deferred ![]()
I’m disappointed, but not too surprised- the veldictorian of my school just got deferred from mit. (with perfect sat’s etc etc)

Still no news here in California… I’m telling myself that I got deffered so I won’t be too disappointed when it comes. The school said the letters were sent Wednesday, so hopefully it will be here tomorrow.

no letter today…
i am in Texas and I CAN’T WAIT ANYMORE!!!
i am pretty sure i got deferred
since my interviewer from georgetown also got deferred when he applied for EA.
i thought he was so perfect. -_-
waiting for one more day, working on another application…

woohoo i just got in!! i live in Georgia by the way. good luck to everyone waiting to hear and to everyone who got deferred.

yeahh i live in ct and i got mine today too. I’ll echo ihaterunning by saying GOOD LUCK to everyone who hasn’t received it yet
