They’re Georgetown, they can do what they want. I am curious as to what the recorded message meant when it say decisions will be released on Friday, December 15th. If we can’t call does that mean that the decisions are going in the mail today? I know everyone said the professors are responsive but I hope that the Registrar, Residence Life etc. runs more smoothly then admissions. It would be nice if Gtown would catch up with the times and post online like every other school. You think that would save admissions a whole lot of headaches. It is going to be a very long weekend.

I kind of like that Georgetown isn’t online. I don’t like the online applications!

Many applications can be submitted by paper yet status and acceptance can be checked online. Even with a paper app the school could notify by email.

Someone on the other thread has received their letter, I believe he lived in NY. This is all so strange.

Yes, someone from Maryland got it yesterday. My guess is that they mailed them out Wednesday night/Thursday Morning.

If they were all mailed in bulk then why did people in Northern Va not receive them yet? I personally believe they went out in batches.

Yeah, and so far since only two people. have been posted and both have been deffered…it leaves me to believe maybe its a good thing we didnt get our letters yet.

swiffergirl

Did you get a letter? What state do you live in?
I hope that the envelope inside means an acceptance for you.
Post on here and let us know.

NY friend’s mom called to say she got letter but isn’t home from school…suspense!

I’m a mom camped out waiting for results also, hence my question to you.
If my son’s envelope comes today then I will be like NY mom waiting for
applicant to come home from school. Thanks for writing back.

I wish your son, best of luck!

The NY letters are obviously hitting today as one sits on the kitchen counter here waiting for my son to get home. I am nervous and can not wait for him to arrive.

The envelope, a business size one, is filled with approx. 4 or 5 sheets according to its bulk, one of which may be greren or blue or yellow.

I am hoping the fact that there is more than 1 sheet means he is in, but i will have to wait. WHO KNOWS?!?

Good luck to all of the studnets on here waiting. In NY the day is here. Probably tomorrow for others.

That means he got in I think… the accpetence ones, have a blue housing sheet. I hope the Massachusetts ones, come today as well.

I just got my letter and I got deffered. I was a normal sized envelope with only one piece of paper in it. I amusing your son got in based on the amount of paper in the envelope. Best of luck to everyone else.
