Early Action Requirements

When a college gives you an Early Action deadline does that mean everything has to be at the school or just your application and essays? Can the official transcripts, recommendations and test scores be sent in after the deadline date?

Usually, yes, but not too late.

Thanks for the response. Beloit is due 12/1, but the rest of the things they require may take up to 2 weeks to be sent. Should I email and let them know the other things will be coming shortly?

Yes, absolutely - let them know. That will also give them a chance to say they need them sooner. When do they send out acceptances?

Usually the first week or two after the deadline is for the schools to start gathering up all the necessary info, and they usually tell you if they are missing anything.

utzy - if you are applying to additional colleges, request your stuff from your Guidance Counselor and from ACT/SAT about 3 weeks before the due date.
