Early action - when do decisions come out?

It might also be pushed back because Thanksgiving was late this year.

Last year the EA decision came out one week after ED. DU’s ED decisions were released last Friday. I would continue to check the portal, but temper expectations until the end of the week.

Good luck to everyone applying!!

The school says next Monday, late in the day - 12/16.

Ugh, what a let down! We were all ready last night!

@EarlyApps I called office of undergrad admissions yesterday and that’s what they told me.

usually when i check my application status, there’s a little blurb on the top of the screen that says something like “thank you for applying to the university of denver. we look forward to reading your application soon.” and now it’s gone. it’s interesting because when i checked my status yesterday i remember it being there. what could this mean?

@tferry this happened the other day for a different school for me… and the decision came out that day.

I noticed it too. I guess it means the decisions have been made but no indication of acceptance or denial.

ahh im so nervous!

I think decisions will be out around 5pm MT.

Where did you find this out? So nervous ahhh

Anyone know… do they let you know via email or will the status change on the application page? Or both?

@Zippyzop When my son was notified 3 years ago, I know he got a status change on the portal (a link to see decision, as I remember) but then I think he also got an email telling him to check the portal. Waiting for my daughter’s decision now.

What does your son see as the positives and negatives 3 years in?

nothing here…

same

I have not gotten anything!!! Argh

I emailed my admissions counselor around 5:45 eastern time and he said that it will come out in about two hours… I’m very excited
