<p>Does anyone know how important rank is for admission to chapel hill? Im valedictorian but my cumulative weighted GPA is only 4.03 which is considered high where I live(my high school is one of the top schools in my state) but I read all these posts and everyone has 4.7s so Im a little worried.</p>
<p>test scores mean more is my gut. that way you can be compared to the entire pool vs. just your immediate surroundings…At leasts that seems most logical</p>

<p>The weighted GPAs don’t really matter because all school systems use different scales. Your unweighted GPA is what they say they use.</p>

<p>They’re open. We don’t get mail until around 2:30 or so (in state), so I’m sure that someone else will let us know earlier. Fingers crossed that all of you find out today! I know my son is hopeful that today is the day…</p>
