Early Action!

983! So close!

last year it came out on a friday to avoid all the angry phone calls…

Today feels like the day, otherwise they wouldn’t have sent those emails to remind us how to log in to check status.

No mail. In state.

Hey guys, just called the undergrad admissions at UNC and the guy there told me the plan is to release the decisions this evening. Good luck to you all!

i live in Chapel Hill, and due to inclement weather, everything is shutting down lol. UNC’s afternoon classes have been cancelled, a bunch of schools have been cancelled. Hopefully this doesn’t mean the admissions office will close  but I may just be thinking too much :)

I think office of admissions will remain open because it’s part of school infrastructure, which doesn’t close.

Thank you Nihad! I sure hope that the precipitation doesn’t alter that plan, but if they told you that, then it must be real.

Woo hoo!! 5 hours to go!

Just called to confirm!! It is tonight!!!

I think last year, someone posted at 4:03pm that the decisions were up. I’m not too optimistic about my chances at UNC, but I still want to know the decision so that I can move on. Good luck everyone, and we are almost at #1000 posts!!

Just spoke to undergrad admissions… This afternoon it is!!

OMG you guys I think I’m going to go crazyy!

4:30 I’m guessing.

Just called admissions and was told, “Our goal is to release decisions this evening.” Best of luck to all!

I left the additional information section on the common app blank because my ECs all fit… Should I be freaking out?

@bookishnerd I just uploaded my resume to that section.

Thank you for the updates! This board is amazing. I wish all of you this best of luck! Fingers crossed!

1000!!!

@matugi okay that makes me feel a little better. My resume wasn’t complete at that time and I didn’t want to be redundant but I’ve heard anything “optional” isn’t really optional. Then again it’s a common application for multiple schools. I have a minor heart attack whenever I think about that.
