Essays were amazing, I really felt that I accomplished my best on them. EC’s included extensive 4-H involvement as well as many hours at the hospital volunteering over the summers. Recs were pretty strong (as far as I know) and I am President of Beta Club and active in about 5-6 others as well.</p>
<p>To those of you that didn’t get accepted, the journey doesn’t end here - though UNC wasn’t your golden door somewhere else is 
and for those of you who are going to join me next year it would be awesome to get in touch! So HMU!</p>

<p>Just FYI, if it gives anyone hope who hasn’t been able to log in yet… my daughter (in-state) had next to no ECs, zero service hours, and average essays. She has worked 16 hours/week since fall of junior year, though, so it’s nice to know that probably counted for something.<br>
