By what am I more likely to get into a school-
early admission or just regular admission?
Will I get disadvantages in early admission because I will be not as much compared to other people who are applying?
Or in regular because there are more students who are competing with me?

Are you speaking of college, or prep school?

I don’t think prep schools have early admission. It’s a choice between the regular admissions cycle, or, some schools have what are known as “rolling” admissions. Some schools may accept late applicants, but this seems to be something of a sore point, as it means they didn’t fill all their slots in the regular cycle.

Some colleges do have an early admissions cycle, and a regular cycle.

This is prep admission section, so yes, I am talking about early admissions to prep schools.
I found out that one of my top choice schools- Miss Hall’s, has an early admission.
Anyone else???

onelittlepanda, Many schools have rolling admissions. They will make a decision whenever you apply and will let you know as soon as they can. For these schools, yes, you are generally better off applying sooner rather than later. You also have a chance for a better financial aid package the sooner you apply.

Thanks, sbergman!
I’ll apply for early admission!!
