UNC has moved up its decision date for in-state applicants who apply by the early action deadline of October 15th. Decisions will now be given by December 20th. This is a big change from years of having to do the long, painful wait until the end of January.

Not-so-great news for OOS applicants as their decision date has been pushed back to “by” February 10th.

Good news for in-state applicants to hear before the end of the year! So many EA schools now delay decisions post-RD app deadlines, which has sadly resulted in kids needing to send more applications.

I don’t think the due date for EA materials changed, just the decision date.
