Early Decision After a Single Choice Early Action

<p>I applied for single choice early action at Princeton earlier this year, and they’re gonna announce their decisions real soon. (December 15, I believe). I honestly don’t think that I will get in because I didn’t do so hot with my essays.</p>

<p>Is it OK to do early decision II at Swarthmore (deadline is January 1) if Princeton rejects me? What about if Princeton defers or waitlists me?</p>

<p>There’s no waitlist at this stage; they either reject, accept, or defer (but I believe that Princeton doesn’t really defer, so you’ll find out soon enough).</p>
