<p>ED depends alot on your financial aid status, especially for NYU. I have heard that ED applicants who have gotten accepted to NYU tend to get lower financial aid because they essentially have to attend NYU. If you don’t need any financial aid go for it. if you do have a large need base, I would not.</p>
<p>I’m not exactly sure of NYU policy but most colleges do defer applicants from ED but not waitlist. waitlisting if after the RD pool.</p>
