Early Decision II

<p>Hello, I would really appreciate some help on this.</p>

<p>I was recently denied Early Decision I admission by my top choice college, Bowdoin (not deferred - rejected). I would now like to do Early Decision II at my second choice school, but the stupid CommonApp isn’t letting me! When I try to click “Early Decision II” under the section “Future Plans”, I get the message:</p>

<p>I can’t remove Bowdoin, but I want to do EDII, and it’s not letting me! Please help!!!</p>

I used my additional info section for something else, and cannot edit it because I already submitted the CommonApp. And I already have the max number of alternate versions (I’m crazy, I know).</p>

<p>Sorry MosheA, the answer I gave you is the answer to your problem. You might try contacting the college you’re applying to and ask them how to handle it. Perhaps sending them a paper copy of an ED agreement would suffice. But you need to get in touch with them.</p>

<p>Have you tried creating a new application. When you do that it copies over the information from the first one by duplicating it. It also allows you to edit the information.</p>

<p>Send a trouble ticket to Common Ap, explain the situation, and ask them to reset your new school to EDII or tell you how to do it.</p>
