So I have a 31 ACT and a 4.0 GPA with a good amount of community service and also sports . where should I apply for early decision for mechanical engineering?
What’s the rush, why do you need to apply anywhere ED? Especially if someone else has to tell you which you prefer? You want to give up finding out where you get in and picking? Comparing costs/aid?
There are a lot of personal considerations in where to apply. Price, location, size, tech oriented school, balanced school…
why don’t you edit your duplicate post and mark title ‘duplicate’.

Thanks .higher chances of getting in.
You should apply ED only if the school is your ultimate first choice and it is affordable and you are willing to accept any financial aid package they present.
You need to talk budget with your parents first. It’s not just a question of getting in, it’s also a question of how much your family can afford to pay.
