<p>I know that people start their internships their 3rd year in college,otherwise knows as Junior year.But my friend told me that somehow you can get an internship as early as beginning of your 2nd year or middle of 2nd year.Does anybody know how?Is it the grades?Connections?Please share if you know</p>
<p>Future, there are people who start internship after their freshman year. Connections, high GPA, your major, the general economic environment are all key factors. The one thing that you can do other than study hard is to be very proactive. You shall start getting to know your school’s Career Office/Center very early on. Have your resume ready. Check often for internship openings. Go to job fairs. Apply to as many internships as possible and hope for the best.</p>
<p>Get to know your professors too. They may help if they see you’re interested.</p>
