Newark, LaGuardia airports most affected.
Two-thirds of the scheduled Wednesday departures from Newark Liberty International Airport, or 433 flights, were called off, according to flight-tracking site FlightAware. More than 380 flights departures were canceled from LaGuardia. A similar number of flights into those airports were also canceled.
Other affected airports include Philadelphia, all New York City-area airports, those in the Washington, D.C. area and in Boston
Wow! We are patiently waiting formthe big snow to start here NW CT. I think we are not going to see as much snow as they originally thought.
Mid Atlantic really got hit!
Mid-Atlantic for me. We got about 8” at my house. Thankful it hit today as my daughter arrives on the red eye Friday morning for her spring break. Never ever would’ve thought snow could’ve been an issue with her travels this late!
We got more snow today than we’ve had all winter.
Just a few inches forecast here in Maine.
We broke a record here in south central PA. We had more than 10", which is the largest snowfall post spring equinox since record keeping started 90 years ago.
Happy that this was not a killer storm—we only got a few inches of snow in my area of MA (35 mi from Boston).
