<p>Is there a counselor for the ESS department? Does anyone have his/her contact info?</p>
<p>I have a peculiar situation. I was recently awarded an “Incomplete” for an ESS course W10 but I was the only student enrolled in the course of 10 (after 6 weeks, not initially) and the instructor never contacted me nor did he have any syllabus posted online. Neither did the instructor make an effort to “cancel” the course or request enrolled student to unenroll. The meeting time for the course was VAR.</p>
<p>I would like to make a case before the college.</p>
<p>Well I don’t think it is possible to remove it from your transcript at this point. Your best bet is to contact the professor (if you can) and ask him what needs to be done to change the I to a Pass (P). If you don’t do anything by the time you graduate it will turn into a NP which will hurt your GPA. (NP counts as an F but P doesn’t affect the GPA).</p>
