What I see says a 7.1 magnitude with the epicenter near Cook inlet.

I just woke up to that news. Hope everyone is safe. I don’t know how populated that area is.
Just saw on the news that it was a less populated area, but they felt shaking in Anchorage . No reports of damage yet.
Pizzagirl, that’s what I thought, too. Hope we will hear from him soon. Anchorage is a small town with just a few buildings taller than 3 stories. Hope there was not a whole lot of damage. Scattered power outages, damaged roadways, and gas leaks being reported, and obviously stuff has fallen off store shelves.
My daughter lives in a remote village north of Anchorage and did not notice it.
