<p>Microquake’ Shakes Parts of Fairfax County</p>

<p>Residents in central Fairfax County might have felt their house shake a bit this afternoon.</p>
<p>The U.S. Geological Survey says a small earthquake-- registering 1.8 on the Richter scale – was recorded about a mile from Annandale.</p>
<p>There have been no reports of damage or injuries.</p>
<p>The earthquake occurred at 1:30 p.m. It’s classified as a microquake, meaning it’s not commonly felt by the general public. But several people called The Washington Post and police and fire departments asking about the tremors.</p>
