Easier to get A's at comm. college?

Is that the overall feeling about community college? I am just wondering if admissions people view transfers with all A’s from a 4-year school as having worked harder to achieve those As vs. someone from a CC. I know that would seem unfair, and I am not trying to disparage the hard work a lot of students do at CC, just trying to get a grasp of how adcoms think.

This depends on where you are transferring to/from. Within a state system there are articulation agreements often between the community college and university systems. Sometimes it can actually be easier to transfer in from the community college than from another lower tier state school. You should check on this for your state as there is wide variation across the country. For example, our state has an articulation agreement and the CC students who have top GPA’s have little trouble transferring into the flagship school.

With the private LAC’s, I would talk with their admissions counselor. They set their own rules.

I am actually thinking about admissions to a private university. Not state. thanks.

That often is the case, even though some universities might not explicitly state it. For example, I remember various posters who were familiar with UChicago transfer admissions saying it’s almost impossible to transfer in as a cc student. They kind of make you justify the reason you chose a cc over a four year institution.
