Easiest APs to self-study?

Now, there have been numerous threads on this topic. There are some extremely easy AP exams to self-study. I give them below and follow them with some pointers:
Environmental Science - This is a relatively straightforward exam that attaches nicely as an extension to the Ecology portion of Biology. Highly managable in a short time, Environmental Science is a combination of common sense that you already know (gleaned from mass media and general books) and just a few more ecology concepts. This is a good AP to self study right after taking or studying Biology.
Human Geography - Not having taken the exam, I can’t comment extensively on this, but I’ve heard that this is THE easiest AP exam and there isn’t too many advanced concepts covered. Perhaps would work good as a humanities supplement?
Psychology - Again, this is a popular self-study topic. The study of Psychology is extremely broad, but AP Psychology tests an extremely small subset of Psychology (that is already extensively covered in prep books). This is a self-study AP that you can take just through reading a prep book.
Art History? - Many people take this to fulfill the a-g Fine Arts requirement for UCs. I’m not particularly sure how simple this exam is, but many people claim it is highly managable through a textbook and serves the a-g requirement nicely.

<p>lol. No, not Physics C, and not Biology. Those aren’t bad, but they cover a lot of material.</p>

<p>I self-studied Environmental Science (4), Psychology (4, then a 5 the next year), Chemistry (4, then a 5 the next year–but AFTER taking an introductory chem course first), Human Geography (5), Comparative Government (4), and English Literature (5).</p>

<p>I would say that all of those but chemistry are pretty easy to self-study, and that a prep book is sufficient study material. I tried art history but that turned out very difficult for me, because there was too much memorization and I am not good at memorization. Other people may have different experiences, though. The easiest test to prepare for is definitely human geography. Psychology would probably be the next easiest, and then comparative government (though I never got a 5 on that ). English Literature is easy to prepare for on your own if you already read and write a lot for fun. Environmental Science (again, I didn’t actually get a 5 on this one, but I didn’t start preparing until a few days before the exam) has a lot of overlap with Biology.</p>

<p>I would say US Gov’t since it’s the only one I did self-study for.<br>
I actually (in my sheer laziness) did not make it through the whole prep book but rather managed to memorize the definitions of everything and the landmark supreme court cases the day before. Since I write essays fairly well and took US history, I found that was enough to secure a 5 as did another one of my friends. Ironically it was the exam I felt most confident about when leaving the room.</p>

<p>I can’t say from experience but I have also heard that APES and Human Geo are quite easy to self-study.</p>

<p>Easiest by least amount of time put into studying or easiest by easiest material to study?</p>

<p>I personally thought AP Macro & AP Micro (2 in 1) were pretty easy, but it’s fairly time consuming. (10 - 20 hours)
From what I heard time wise AP Enviro or AP Psych is the shortest to study and arguably the easiest.</p>
