I have taken pretty much all the classes i need to except a few pre reqs that i am taking in fall. I need electives just to fill units so i wanted to know what is the easiest class to get an A in to boost my GPA. I heard it was criminal justice.

ratemyprofessor.com

cinema 3, if you actually study for one or two hours before each test, is really cool / easy.

psych 1 with Lim is ridiculously easy.

that’s all i know of, as far as way easy goes.

Any cinema class taught by McCulloch.

Online Speech 151 - Small Group Communication with Professor Smith at West LA College

If you’re signed up for Pierce, you can register for classes at WLAC via online.

calculus 2

calc 2 is easy you are right…multivariable calc is just as easy

any class with OBORN- sooo freaking easy. you look at your book and talk with the people around you when youre taking the exam lolol

she teaches soc 3 & 4 and criminal justice 1 & 2 :)

perser- psych 1, stats 1
larson- history 1 & 2
gable- poli sci 1 & 2
cinema 107- windrum

thanks…advice for pierce college goers that dont procrastinate too much…take online classes. They are a lot easier. Phil 1 with endara, soc 1 with hoshiar

Poli sci with Gable is too easy.

Any history with Lason is easy.

The EASIEST though is Rosenthal for Philosophy. I ended the classes with 140% and did no homework. He gives too much extra credit.

lol…

Rosenthal’s tests are nearly impossible. But with all the EC he gave, I was able to score poorly on all tests and still get an A. Not to mention he is not as professional as the other professors. Save money and don’t but the books for his intro class if you take it. Never used.

Not IMPOSSIBLE, just absurdly hard haha. I normally got a C on them, and just made it up with massive EC. Yah, books are unneeded. Then again I bought almost no books at Pierce for my 2 year stint.

Just be sure to enjoy the time he spends talking to squirrels. And if you are a girl, sit in the back. He will stare at you very creepily if you are in the front row.

wow thanks…im a philosophy major and i was thinking about taking philosophy 9 with rosenthal this fall…so his tests are really hard? what is the extra credit like, is it on the test or do you have to write a paper or more like homework

Lol don’t fear the tests. The extra credit on them is T/F.

A test will be like this:

15 multiple choice questions worth 30 points. Then 5 extra credit T/F questions worth 40 points.

You have to only write 2 papers. They are in class essays. You get to submit a cheat-sheet though beforehand I believe. The essays are easy though.

I had him at Moorpark and he told us he wrote the final at 4am. lol
Our final was 6 T/F @15pts, 1 MC @ 10pts. The T/F problems are usually 1/3 to 1/2 a page long. If you guess right, you can score high. I got an F on quiz 1, B on quiz 2, A on midterm. I had about 100 extra credit points at the end. 240 points and you get an A.

I already had an A+ going into the final so I just put C all the way down and turned it right back. He then told me if I failed the test I wouldn’t pass the class. I was a bit stunned. He then pulled out the answers and oddly enough I got a C by putting all Cs. Pretty cool.

Rosenthal is the man!

I have him right now for Honors Phil Ethics, I have over 130% and don’t plan on showing up to the next class showings until the final…the final only has 8 questions on a small scan tron lol.

However, I must warn those of you who plan on taking any of his phil classes, he messes up on grades ALOT so make sure you have a SOLID A or SOLID B, if you’re at the border line, chances are you’ll end up with the lower grade; be sure to hold on to all your assignments when the semester’s over so in case he messes up you can show him your assignments.

Larson is the man when it comes to history, best history professor at any cc imo! “yes yes yes.”

I regret not doing an honors contract for his class when I had him for history 2. I plan on taking him for history 1 next semester.

lolll endara online is definitely the easiest philosophy teacher, and possibly the easiest class at pierce.

But Rosenthal sounds like a good class, although people have told me he doesnt prepare you for transferring at all lolll

health with rose is a gigantic joke, it is so easy it is mind numbing!
for psych, hennessey is easy and really good!
art history classes with abbamotian are easy/good too
