OK Ok…before i get yelled at, let me just say for the record…
the ivy’s are the hardest schools to get into, they are great…blah blah blah…

there, i said it. now this is a random question, but which ivy league is perhaps, hypothetically speaking, the easiest to get into? and dont say all of them, just pretend you had a gun to your head and pick one. you can rank them if you want.

and which is the most fun in terms of social life and stuff to do around the city (probably columbia)?

I think Columbia is the easiest to get into (overall). The undergrad is tough, but in general if you want a masters or professional degree, it’s the easiest of all ivies, from what I hear. It’s kinda reversed…they make the higher degrees much easier to get any other Ivy.

I’d have to agree on Cornell. I know someone with a 1050 SAT I who’s applying there. It’s supposed to be easy, but I don’t think that easy (or maybe I’m wrong).

“I think Columbia is the easiest to get into (overall).”

No way Hosay… Otherwise why would the whole Columbia board be in a frenzy… all nervous about what’s going to happen to them… including me… if it was so simple and easy…

Any Ivy is hard to get into…
But yeh I’d have to say… Cornell seems to be the “easiest” if you can even call it easy to get into…

Generally speaking though…they are ALL dammmnnnn hard to get into…

I don’t think people are implying Cornell is easy to get into, just that it’s probably the easiest of the Ivies (if you are going by acceptance rates, and sheer size.)

Are we talking overall or just ugrad? For ugrad, Cornell is relatively easier, just going by accept rates. Overall though, it’s definitely Columbia, since it’s a huge school at the grad level…they have all kinds of programs, including internet degree programs. I think the stats are posted on their website. Many programs have 70% acceptance rates, so if you take the average, then Columbia is definitely the easiest.

Most students at my school don’t even bother with Columbia undegrad…they save up to get a grad degree, which is much easier to get.
