Easiest, most painless VLPA classes?

They all seem unpleasant and I just want to get some easy 4.0s so I can focus on my math/science.

Do the intro series of Near E, like 210, 211 and 212.

They’re relating to the Middle East, Islam and such. They’re purposefully designed to be survey courses for people unfamiliar with the material.

If you’re from a specific culture or society internationally which is convenient to you, I’d suggest you take a course in that. So, for example, if you are Japanese there may be a Japanese culture course. (I have no idea if you are Japanese or not, so no offense intended)

Define painless? A majority of the classes that are “easy” still require commitment. Don’t think any class is a free pass for an A. You still have to do all the work, go to classes, etc. With that said:

ESS 101 Terry Swanson – Go to the field trips and get all the extra credit. The labs are pretty easy and require little to no brain power. The tests are a little challenging but just try to get past exams and study those because a lot of questions are reused. I got a 3.9 in it. He also tries to make it fun. 5 credits.

SPHSC 100 – At least for my teacher, we just had a couple of speeches to give (and really it seems more based on effort rather than actually speaking). There’s also some short tests on anatomy of the voice and ears but other than that it was a pretty simple class. 3 credits.

DRAMA 101 – I got a 4.0 in this class BUT there is still a decent amount of work in it. The tests are pretty long and do require you to do the play readings. There are quizzes in QZ but they are really easy if you read it so don’t slack. There are some extra credit opportunities so do those (usually its just doing a job for the theatre or watching a show, time consuming but the extra credit is worth it). Also the final project is a huge chunk of your grade and they generally don’t grade too harshly on it. Just be diligent about your work and working with group members when you have to do little skits and it shouldn’t be too bad.

Hope this helps.
