<p>I think anywhere could be a party school. Well maybe except for the military academies, but I’m sure if you’re bold enough you could even make West Point into a party school.

<p>you need a minimum of 30 credits for transferring as a freshamn (that is completing 2 semesters) you can’t apply if you don’t fit the minimum.</p>

<p>Not all schools require the 30 credit minimum. Some allow as little as 12 credits however, you’ll need to provide both your high school transcripts (and generally meet the freshman admission requirements) and your college transcripts, including all ACT or SAT scores. Generally, if your college transcripts make up for discrepancies in your high school transcripts you can still be admitted without the standard freshman admission requirements. You might also consider staying for another semester so you have 30 credits because, in that case, your high school statistics aren’t generally needed. Most schools I applied to transfer to required 24 or more credits with a GPA of a 2.5 or above for consideration. </p>

<p>I just answered your question. Without 24 or more credits you can’t transfer without also meeting the freshman admission criteria. period. If you applied now, you’d need to send both your high school and college transcripts. That’s not saying you can’t transfer, just that’d you need to meet both requirements. </p>
<p>It’s possible that if you’re applying for the fall that there’s an option to state that you’ll be finishing the spring semester which gives you their minimum amount of credits but, you’ll have to call to find that out.</p>
<p>As for a list, just google. Here’s a list of the top US party schools. Maybe check out their admission requirements.</p>

<p>My D applied (& was accepted) as a transfer at USC. She submitted her application after having completed only one semester of CC and had no other college credit. She was admitted as a spring admit (which means she completed 3 semesters of CC before she started). Rules vary by school. </p>
<p>As a parent, I’d be concerned if your priorities are “easiest party school to get in to.” I’d really object to paying tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars for my kiddo to do that. Most kids at least claim they’re interested in the academics and particular programs at the school to which they’re applying to transfer.</p>
<p>You need to examine the requirements of the school(s) you are considering transferring to, as policies vary considerably. Many students transfer to enter as juniors, after having completing 60 semester credits, but it varies widely (like my D’s case).</p>
<p>@somebeast No,given that you’ve taken college classes you can longer apply as a freshman. However, since most colleges require transfer students to have completed 24 or more college credits prior to enrolling you would also need to send in your high school transcripts.</p>
<p>Some universities do not require high school test scores or transcripts after 24 or more college credits are completed. This is why many students take community college classes. They no longer are required to submit high school material because it’s not relevant to admission. This does not apply to all schools though. Sometimes, regardless of how many credits are completed, high school materials will need to be sent. </p>
<p>In your case, lets assume you’re applying to a school that does not require high schools material after 24 credits are completed. If that were the case you would only need to send your college transcripts. But, because you’ve only completed 15 and you’re trying to transfer for the fall, you’d be required to send BOTH your college transcripts and your high school transcripts, including your ACT or SAT scores. This is asked because they want to gauge your potential success in the school given that you haven’t completed an entire year of college just yet.</p>

<p>You are more likely to find a place where you would have friends if you think about what you really want in a school, so you’re find like-minded people that you would have something in common with. Have you figured out why you weren’t active in HS & what you would change to be more active if you go to college? It is a huge financial investment & if all you want to do is go out & have friends, you should consider a structured “gap” year, so help you figure out what you really want to pursue and learn. College can be very expensive and it would be sad to waste the opportunity if you can develop skills for a career you would enjoy AND make friends you would go out with. If you make like-minded friends, pretty much any campus could be a fun place (or pretty bleak if everyone is VERY different from you.</p>
