What is the easiest school to get into at Cornell for a male? (Undergrad, as a freshman applicant)

and how tough is it to get into the Hotel school?

What is the easiest school to get into at Cornell for a male? (Undergrad, as a freshman applicant)

and how tough is it to get into the Hotel school?

I would aim for the women’s studies program if I were you. There is a concerning dearth of male representation that could make an applicant of your “caliber” very attractive.

probably human ecology for normal students and aap if you have a good portfolio

The small increase in probability of you getting accepted to a program because you’re a male would be completely diminished by the large decrease in probability of you getting in, because you applied to a program that probably doesn’t fit you.

The school your interests most closely align with.

What is the easiest school to get into in general and how hard is the hotel school to get into?

not cornell

I know Cornell as a whole is tough to get into but major wise, like is the business school easy or the LSA, etc

the easiest school to get into is Engineering. Look at the percentage of students they accept.

there isn’t a back door into cornell. Apply to the program that suits you the best and that you want to study.

Just because you’re ****ing me off: Boston sports suck.

cornells accepted an astonishing 0% this year…it was unfortunate.

Selectivity was just through the roof, so there will not be any freshman this year. sorry dude.

i would say try design major or something in the HE school. just pick a major with very few guys…

The easiest school to get into is the school that best fits you.

You’re approaching college all wrong. The fact that you’re asking what the statistically easiest path through is and bringing the irrelevance of whether you stand or sit when you pee leads me to believe Cornell is not the right school for you.

Find something for which you are passionate about and then find a school that fits that passion. You’ll be miserable at any school for the reasons you describe.

I went to Cornell Days and they said that the acceptance rate this year was 8% for Cornell Engineering I believe. I may be wrong. But are you right?

Probably not 8%, 2009’s statistics were 22% admitted, 42% yield.

For comparison, MIT’s admissions was 9.7% with a 64% yield.

If Cornell Engineering had a 65% yield, it would have a 14% admissions rate.
