Special Circumstances
My dad has cancer, so I’ve had to help out more at home
Both my parents lost their jobs, so it has been a rough transition from upper middle class to less than 40k a year

Schools & Major per school (based on how they let you double major- will end up having econ or poli sci and theatre)
NYU- Poli Sci
Northeastern- Theatre
Bard- Econ
Cal Poly- Econ
SDSU- Econ
Fordham- Econ
Williams- Theatre
Harvard- Theatre (parents making me apply)
U Chicago- Theatre
Hofstra- Econ
Boston University- Econ
Hofstra- Poli Sci & honors college
Santa Clara- Econ or Poli Sci
William & Mary- Econ
Amherst- Poli Sci

Should be pretty set for most of these schools, Harvard and some of the other LACs are a bit of a stretch, especially considering that you’re not sending any SAT IIs and there’s not a whole bunch of recognition.

Yea my parents are making me apply to the crazy hard ones to get into aka Harvard. I think on Harvard and U Chicago recommend subject tests and since I don’t really care about those, I figured it’d be fine.
@accaccacc

EDIT: I’m sending in a portfolio for the Theatre Arts schools, so that should help somewhat.

Why not Vassar or Wesleyan, given your interests? Stronger options than Bard IMHO.

@ReallyOk - the Political Science, Economics (Levy Institute!) and Theater departments at Bard College are wonderful - the equal to Wesleyan and Vassar (which are certainly good options, as well, for the OP.) Not sure why you would think otherwise.

I looked at Vassar and didn’t really like it as much.
