I don’t understand how collegeboard isn’t at least making different forms for west and east coast. I mean people have friends over at the east coast taking their tests 3 hours before hand and sending the answers over after they are done. I know it takes money to make different forms but at least make different forms so people can’t cheat this way which is almost full proof in my opinion.

The answer is simple - if CB did that they would either lose money or have to triple the cost of each test… not something anyone wants.

They could easily rearrange the questions to some extent.

Rearranging the questions would not make much of a difference. When people share answers across time zones, they do so by sharing the concepts of the question, not the question number and answer itself. For example, someone might say “The answer to the tough Electrochemistry question about the anodes and electrolysis was H+.” They would not go “the answer to number 37 is B.”

Ah, you have some experience in this I suppose you are right. The CB probably can’t do much about that type of cheating. Seems like there is only a downside for the person on the East Coast, though.

i suppose, but honestly i don’t understand why anyone would want to give answers for sats to someone else…wouldn’t that only hurt themselves when that person scores higher?

^^^
That can be said about all forms of cheating. Yet, cheating is still widespread as people strive to please their friends.
