Is there? Or does everyone just blatantly remembers it from a long list?

Idioms are kind of “natural” for a lot of people. What I recommend is looking at an idiom and reading 2 examples and then writing one of your own for each. That was enough to get me to memorize them.

What you mean by finding them in a book… like is there a website for it or do you literally go to a book and Start finding idioms?

Like I got a sentence guide with a list of long of idioms. They gave stuff like “advocate of” or other idiomatic phrases. So with each phrase I would think of a sentence like “I am in advocate of abortion” or something along those lines and just use the examples to help me remember them
