Hi. I offered to help a friend (in her mid 60s) find information about degree or certificate programs for a specific subject area. Are there any all-in-one online directories for this, so that I don’t have to resort to a broad search? Thanks.

Your question is too broad and too vague to answer. However, many fields will have related associations where you can start your research. For example, if looking at engineering programs, you could start with ABET, or architecture programs check with NCARB, etc.
Thanks for the tips. The field is research advocacy, specifically advocacy on behalf of cancer researchers. I don’t even know if certificate or degree programs exist for this. I know of at least one program for training patient advocates but none (so far) for training research advocates.
