easy or tough sr year?

so just like all of yall
im doing all i can to reach that number 1 or 2 slot
and traditionally at my school
it hasnt been the kids who take the heavy all ap load
(the salutatorian was the varsity QB and has take 1 ap class all 4 years)
im currently a jr, and my senior year schedule is leaning towards:

AP Spanish
Trigonometry
AP Government
Physics
Economy/Photography
AP English Literature

you get 5 points for ap classes (85=90)
im debating the ap spanish (for the 5 points) or just a random elective like girls weights or something for the easy A. all the other classes i pretty much have to take in order to graduate.
PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINION!!! WHAT HAVE VALEDICTORIANS DONE AT YOUR SCHOOL??!!

easy.

senior year is a time to relax, explore things, learn stuff you really want to, and meet people.

the biggest irony of senior year is that having a hard schdule doesn’t really pay off. you’ll feel like **** after you graduate, throughout summer that you didn’t meet more people, etc…

that is my best advice for you.

i’m not saying you should slack off though (until second semester). just don’t pound yourself w/ work.

oh yea, if you’re at least in the top 10 (unless your school has 100 students), you’re almost guaranteed admission to berkeley. it’s not that hard to get into berkeley.

relax.

I’d say hard, personally. Especially with something AP Spanish, where the class isn’t really that hard in the first place. Why not give yourself the extra advantage, no matter how small it may be?

I study like hell, didn’t go to prom or senior breakfast. No nothing at all. But it was kinda different for me, as I had only 3 semesters in high school to make up for all four years.
I like what eva said

Take AP Spanish and just work for an easy C or B.

I took:AP Lit
AP Physics
AP Chem
AP Gov
AP Calc
AP Econ
Spanish 3
At the beginning of the year, I had the same motivation that you have - to become the valedictorian of my school. But instead, and as the year progressed, I decided that earning that one title isn’t worth all the fun I could have. So by the second month of the year, I studied just enough to keep a 3.0, as required by Cal. In fact I got 3.0, exactly, both semesters. And of course, I lost my valedictorian status and became rank 7. Do I regret it? Nope, I’m still in the same place as my valedictorian, and I made tons of beau tiful memories that I will never forget.

nobody here went to your high school. ask your own high school graduates or valedictorians…

and well, for me, at my school senior year was not easy but it was a lot of fun…but they didn’t go as easy as we had thought they would.

I took 5 AP’s senior year

AP US GOV
AP English Lit
AP Physics C
AP Calculus AB
AP Psychology

I managed to get a 5.0 first semester and a 4.8 second semester and moved myself up to become saludatorian! It didn’t even effect my social life negatively as this was first year I really had one.
