I attend high school in Indiana and am wishing to go to IU.
That being said, I am lost on scholarships and money. How do I get scholarship money? Do I write essays?
Another thing I’d like to know is how big of a chance is it that I’d pay very little out-of-pocket? What percent of IU applicants get a full ride? What’s the cutoff for merit scholarships?

What is your ACT or SAT score?
What year are you in high school?
How much can your family contribute to your college costs?
Are you a low income family?
Have you looked on the IU website for scholarship information?
There is a net price calculator on the IU site as well. If your parents are not divorced…don’t own a business…or don’t own real estate other than your primary residence…the net price calculator can give you a decent estimate of your net cost at IU.
Remember…if you are starting college in 2018…the financial aid forms will use 2016 income.
