Ebooks vs textbooks

Which ones should I get?

Its a personal choice. Personally I prefer to have a physical textbook that I can bookmark and highlight in. At the end of each semester I can sell my books back online and at least get half of my money back. If you get the ebook you pay roughly 1/3/-1/2 less for the book but odviously you cant sell it back at the end. I have purchased physical books in the past for say $30 in great condition and then resold them for $50 (making $20) and other books lose their value right away. I really think this is a personal question. You can also rent textbooks from chegg.com

or you can get an older version or non nyu custom edition from eretailers such as half.com and abebooks.com. I got my Game Theory textbook for $14, and it retailed at NYU for $155. it isnt the stern custom one or whatever, but i emailed the prof and he said it was fine.
