EC for internationals.

<p>I know it is extremely competitive for internationals to enter US medical schools. Therefore, I think I’d definitely need strong ecs like clinical or research experience. (or internship program if it helps) </p>

<p>I’m just curious… does international status inhibit one from participating in such activities? I know I’ll figure out once I get into university and talk with a counselor, but I’d really appreciate if someone offers me some answer. </p>

<p>Some programs require you to be a US citizen/PR in order to apply (i.e. the few programs through NIH that I’ve looked at have all had this requirement), but others should be open to internationals.</p>

<p>Never heard of any difficulties. Work visas might be another issue if you want to work full time.</p>
