'EC Records Not Required' - Would it hurt my chances if I send them anyway?

If an admissions site states that:

Extra-Curricular Activities records and recommendation letters are not required.

Would it hurt my chances or affect me negatively if I do send them in anyway? This is my ultimate dream school and I don’t mean sending a big package of awards, just maybe a 2-page resume plus a sample of my work.

Would it be bad if send them anyway?

What school?

And I’ve never heard of an “EC Record.”

I’m guessing it would be something like a resume or photocopies of awards.

I’m applying to National University of Singapore.

A one page resume is more than sufficient…youo are a studnet–and even the most accomplished Exec can show most important salient info to a headhunter with one page.

My guess is the school AdComm makes its decision based on grades, scores and recs.
