I’m an ECHS student, meaning I can either get an associate degree or approximately 60 hours towards a bachelor’s degree while in high school. My goal is to get a B.S. in Biomedical engineering and MAYBE go to medical school afterwards. I can’t get an A.S. in Biomedical engineering at a community college, so I’m unsure what to do. I’m thinking the most reasonable majors are biology, pre-engineering, or transfer. At one point I considered taking summer and evening courses and trying to get both biology AND pre-engineering, but I’ve realized that’s not the best idea. What should I do?

If you want to go to med school, only do BME if you are really interested in the material and are good at it. A “good” BME GPA may not be so great for a med school GPA.
