Econ advisors for thesis and grad school prep

Hey I’m interested in pursuing a graduate degree in economics, and would like to get some advise from anyone who is/has gone down this path. I’m a current junior, who has taken 101 series, stat 134, and math 53 & 54.

Are there any professors you know who are particularly good to have as a advisor for thesis, or is a good person to possibly RA for?

Can anyone describe what happens in Econ H195A and H195B? Like what the process of thinking of the thesis idea, how the advising is, timeline etc.

How should I prep for a senior thesis and grad school in terms of courses? I’m planning on taking Econ 104, 141, 182. For math I plan on taking 55, 110, 113, 128, 104.

Btw I will of course be asking the econ undergrad advisor for some advice too, but would love to get any extra from past/current students!

Courses to consider, according to an economics PhD student:
