<p>Is it me, or do the requirements for majoring in Econ at VT look very slack: <a href=“http://www.econ.vt.edu/undergraduate/ECAS2013-check.pdf”>http://www.econ.vt.edu/undergraduate/ECAS2013-check.pdf&lt;/a&gt;? </p>

<p>Senior year seems to be composed entirely of non-Econ electives, while many other classes seem to be about developing a political worldview slightly related to Econ. Am I missing something here?</p>

<p>It is a typical econ program.</p>

<p>Intro sequence frosh year along with Calc.</p>

<p>Intermediate theory sequence Soph year along with stats.</p>

<p>5 3 hour econ major electives spread out over last two years…9 hrs jr and 6 hrs senior year.</p>
