I am interested in going to econ grad school but have not taken the needed math courses. I plan to graduate this May but would like to attend grad school sooner rather than later. I didn’t really think much about my future for most of my college career so I only took Calc 1 and Econometrics. I’m thinking it might be advantageous for me to stay in school for up to another year to take more math, improve my GPA(3.3) and find some research work. This is of course assuming my school and my parents allow me to remain in school.

Would it be best for me to stay in school to achieve those goals or enter the work force and take those math classes at nearby colleges? I’m leaning towards staying in school because the labor market is so atrocious.
