<p>from a recruiting perspective econ major with 3.8 > wharton with 3.0…however, wharton with anything >3.5 will probably get you the same jobs as an econ major with 3.8. </p>
<p>That said getting a 3.8 in econ (while taking 4 wharton classes) is not that easy.</p>
<p>If you can get a 3.8 doing Econ, there’s no way you’re going to end up with a 3.0 at Wharton. But to answer your question, yes a 3.8 is better than 3.0, even if it’s CAS vs Wharton</p>
