congrats on moving on from CC to Cal. i cannot really comment about what classes to take but I would recommend checking out the professional fraternities. these organizations have many insights and some are more aligned with your interests : alpha sig, delta sig and beta alpha psi. in addition there’s other business oriented clubs such as the berkeley consulting all of these clubs/organizations however, do require a rigorous application process. good luck and Go Bears!!
Consulting clubs are highly recommended but they’re sort of insane to try to get into.
A lot of the Econ transfer that I know took Financial Econ. They liked it because it was applicable to life, practical, and I think that they generally did okay in it.
Here’s the electives list if you haven’t seen it

UGBA 103 at Haas, then any UGBA 13X class after that.
If you want a more quantitative direction (which some finance employers prefer), consider the more quantitative options (101A, 101B, 141 instead of 100A, 100B, 140), quantitative economics electives (C103, 104), and finance related electives (136, 138, 139). Additional math and statistics beyond the basic requirements for the economics major may be needed as prerequisites.
